The National Association of Legal Advocacy Educators (NALAE) is a nationwide organization of Professional Legal Educators (PLEs) dedicated to advancing the quality and impact of advocacy education in law schools across the United States so our law school graduates can assure their clients have a voice.
We are committed to addressing the longstanding challenge in legal education by ensuring that the tens of thousands of law school graduates annually are professionally prepared, competent, and confident as they enter our noble legal profession.

NALAE’s membership includes full-time law school faculty whose expertise is grounded in real-world practice, as well as judges, practicing attorneys, adjunct professors, and leaders of legal organizations.
In short, our goal is to help Professional Legal Education departments across the nation amplify their voice, strengthen their influence, and enhance their standing within legal academia.
