I've been the Advocacy Teaching Fellow at UMKC Law School since January 2024. Before that, I spent ten years practicing criminal defense in Texas, focusing on both trial and appellate work. I served as an El Paso County Public Defender for two years and successfully ran my own law practice for eight years. I am also a registered patent attorney. My passions include advocacy, mentoring students, and law practice management.
