Lauren Thrasher is a passionate public defender in Henry County, Georgia who seeks to focus her career on fighting for and representing those who need it the most. She has gained extensive trial advocacy experience, including jury trials ranging from traffic tickets to murder.
In addition to her practice, she has a strong passion for teaching trial advocacy. Lauren is a program director with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy where she shares her passion for trial advocacy with advocates nationally and internationally. Lauren is an Adjunct Professor at Emory University School of Law where she serves as an attorney coach for the mock trial team and teaches a course on DUI Trials and how to litigate them. She also serves as a faculty member for the Kessler-Edison Program for Trial Techniques.
Mrs. Thrasher graduated from The University of Georgia with a B.A. in History. She graduated from Emory University School of Law with honors. During law school, Mrs. Thrasher served as the Director-in-Chief of the Mock Trial Society. She also was the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships recognizing her excellence in trial advocacy.
